About this experience
In Rome, many films have been shot about Rome - I suggest turning a walk through the Eternal City into a journey into the world of cinema. Guessing scenes from movies at every turn, you will learn interesting facts about Rome. And behind the famous names like 'Piazza Navona', 'Trevi Fountain', or 'Spanish Steps', you will discover stories of fictional and real characters: here the heroine Sophia Loren seduced a priest, and there the princess from 'Roman Holiday' ate gelato. The city will transform before your eyes and share stories of the past, secrets of the movie backstage, and of course, the best 'shots'.
What to expect
Assemble Rome from movie fragments
The excursion route will pass through the famous places of the city and allow you to see historical areas in all their splendor. So, today in the movies:
- Spanish Steps, where you will recall episodes from the movie 'The Talented Mr. Ripley', learn where the poet-romantic John Keats found his last refuge, and hear the story of two enterprising Englishwomen.
- Trevi Fountain - a location that is remembered from Fellini's 'La Dolce Vita': it is here that the characters of the film 'bathed'. I will tell you the main things about this pompous structure, how much money the municipal services fish out of the bottom annually, and also about the woman who, like Anita Ekberg and Marcello Mastroianni's characters, had the right to legally climb into the fountain.
- Temple of Divine Hadrian, the columns of which served as a backdrop for a scene from Michelangelo Antonioni's 'Eclipse'.
- Palazzo Scapucci: if we believe the frames from the movie 'Eat Pray Love', the main character Elizabeth Gilbert lived in this house. Here you will see the statue of Madonna and learn the medieval legend about the event for which it was erected.
- Piazza Navona, or the square where the execution of a Vatican cardinal took place in 'Angels and Demons'. This ancient stadium will tell you about the confrontation of two geniuses of Roman Baroque, and the Fountain of the Four Rivers will tell you about the reconstruction of naval battles.
Our cinematic walk will end on the Tiber River embankment and Ponte Sisto, where you will learn how James Bond's Aston Martin was submerged in the river during the filming of 'Spectre'.

Positive emotions were experienced not only during the excursion itself, but also while preparing for it, watching wonderful movies together. It was interesting. We will definitely watch those films that we didn't have time to see in December. It was also very interesting to visit such iconic places...

A knowledgeable and very interesting storyteller and conversationalist! Instead of the usual and expected large flow of number...
