Iconic Places of Khiva
We will explore Itchan Kala - the Old City, protected by defensive walls. I will show you the giant unfinished minaret of Kalta Minor, ironically becoming Khiva's hallmark. We will also visit numerous madrasahs and palaces. Additionally, we will enter the thousand-year-old Juma Mosque, adorned with carved columns featuring various patterns.

Without dry numbers and endless names, I will reveal the three-thousand-year history of Khiva. I will tell you how the 'fire worshippers' of Khorezm became followers of Islam. I will share the story of the great scholar Al-Biruni, whose student was Avicenna himself. I will explain what is isryk and why it's burnt. You will also learn about the lives of the Khan's wives and concubines in the harem, and what intrigues they wove.
