This one-day journey will reveal breathtaking mountain views, introduce you to the rich history of Georgia and its legends. Our route passes by the picturesque Zhinvali Reservoir, where we will make a stop and visit the medieval fortress of Ananuri. We will not miss the famous Friendship Arch. And our final destination is the monastery at the foot of the majestic Kazbek.
Speeding to the north from afar,
From warm and unfamiliar lands,
To you, Kazbek, the guardian of the east,
I, a wanderer, bring my homage.
M. Lermontov
What to Expect
From Tbilisi, we will head to the mountain village of Stepantsminda with stops at the most breathtaking locations. Points of our route:

- Gudauri Ski Resort: here you will find views of snow-capped peaks
- Friendship Arch: feel the grandeur of the monument to Russian-Georgian friendship, towering on the edge of the mountain
