About this experience
Welcome to a picturesque journey to the Orthodox shrines of Georgia! You will visit the Cathedral of the Iberian Icon of the Mother of God, where the famous Robe of the Mother of God, known throughout the world, is kept. Explore the ancient churches in the cave city of Uplistsikhe, the mountain monastery of Motsameta in the vicinity of Kutaisi, and the temples of Borjomi.
What to expect
Monasteries in Borjomi. You will visit 2 monasteries: the Venerable Seraphim of Sarov and Gabriel the Urgebadze. You will also taste the legendary mineral water and take a walk in the picturesque park.
Cave city of Uplistsikhe. You will explore the cave churches and monasteries with a 4000-year-old history. And enjoy the view of the Kura River.
Motsameta Monastery in Kutaisi. This is one of the most beautiful temples in Georgia, located on a picturesque cliff surrounded by dense forests.
