About this experience
Join us for a guided tour of Istanbul's iconic landmarks in the company of a professional guide! Explore the heart of the city - Sultanahmet Square. Admire the interiors of the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, wander through the underground labyrinth of the Basilica Cistern, and stroll through the Grand Bazaar. We will share the past and present of these places with you.
What to Expect
Sultanahmet Square. The main square of the Old City, where you will see artifacts from different eras: the Egyptian Obelisk, the German Fountain, and the ruins of the Roman Hippodrome.
Blue Mosque. The first and only Ottoman mosque with six minarets. Learn why on the tour. You will also admire the mosque's luxurious interior and hear its history.
Hagia Sophia. Former Eastern Orthodox cathedral, now converted into a mosque. Through it, we will reveal the peculiarities of Byzantine architecture.
Basilica Cistern. Walk through the huge underground water reservoir, examining ancient columns with capitals in Greek and Roman styles. We will tell you how the reservoir was created and what role it played in the city's life.
Grand Bazaar. Experience a true oriental market and immerse yourself in its vibrant atmosphere.
