Istanbul is a stunningly colorful place. To get to know and feel this city, you will visit its European and Asian parts, take a ferry ride. Visit ancient mosques and the Hagia Sophia cathedral, marvel at the luxury of the Topkapi Palace. And I will tell you about local traditions, history, and architecture and do everything to make you feel welcome guests.
What to Expect
Diverse Istanbul
You will get acquainted with the city's "business cards." The tour program includes:
- Sultanahmet Square - Istanbul's main square, the site of the Hippodrome in the Byzantine period.
- Hagia Sophia - the city's most important symbol, which will impress you with elegant arches, colorful marble, and decorative mosaics. I will share the history of its construction and decipher its architectural features.
- Topkapi Palace - where Ottoman rulers lived for 400 years. You will walk through its magnificent halls and appreciate the splendid interiors.
- Bosphorus Cruise - take a ferry ride on Turkey's most important "road," connecting the Black and Marmara Seas, and enjoy the pleasant breeze and wonderful views of the city and traditional fishing boats.
- Blue Mosque - here you will unravel the mystery of the six minarets, admire the graceful balconies and thousands of handcrafted sky-blue tiles.
Organizational Details
- Entry to Topkapi Palace is paid separately - 1500 lira per person
- The Bosphorus Cruise is conducted on a private yacht, the cost inquire at the time of booking. If you do not want to ride on the yacht, you can visit the Basilica Cistern (+600 lira per person for entry).
- The harem tour is not included in the program. Visiting the harem takes an additional 45-60 minutes, +10 euros per person.
- We only view Hagia Sophia from the outside
- Upon request, instead of the Topkapi Palace, you can visit the Grand Bazaar or the Suleymaniye Mosque.
