About this experience
Together we will explore the nature of the island. We will see thousands of butterflies and hardworking bees, amethyst geodes and diamonds in rock, meteorites and petrified trees, interact with lemurs, ostriches, and other funny animals. We will return from the trip with lots of interesting photos and a fireworks display of impressions.
What to Expect
Bee Museum
You will see exhibits related to beekeeping, starting from the Stone Age. I will tell you about the history of this field in Rhodes, beehives and their designs, tools and equipment of a beekeeper, bee products. We will watch the little striped workers and try fresh honey.
Butterfly Valley
This is a rare reserve in Europe and a unique sight - a beautiful valley, a stream, small waterfalls, deciduous forest, and... thousands of butterflies. You will explore the valley on your own and enjoy its unique atmosphere.
Geology and Paleontology Museum
You will find minerals, petrified trees, cones, skeletons of sea urchins, mammoth tusks, and much more. The museum owner will talk about paleontological fossils and geological wonders, and I will translate his fascinating stories for you. Here you can also buy crystals and jewelry made from them, as well as semi-precious stones.
Ostrich Farm
In addition to ostriches, you will see lemurs, goats, raccoons, llamas, camels, porcupines, wild boars, and other animals. I will tell you more about them on the way in the car so that you have more time to observe all the inhabitants and interact with them at the farm.
