About this experience
I invite you to explore the unconventional places in the vicinity of Bangkok on an individual tour! You will visit the Pink Dragon Temple, take a boat ride along the floating market, observe trading on active railway tracks, and visit the mysterious Temple of the Dark God. I will share insights into Thai superstitions, mystical folklore, and Buddhism as a business.
What to expect
Dragon Temple. It is a giant pink tower with a huge dragon around it. It is believed that if you touch the dragon's tail, throw a coin into the special 'luck pot,' and strike the temple gong - good fortune will accompany you throughout the upcoming year.
Maeklong Railway Market. You will visit a unique market located on active railway tracks. Find out what happens to it when the trains pass during the tour!
Floating Market. You will cruise through the country's most famous floating market. Optionally, buy local exotic fruits and souvenirs there.
Wat Si Sa Thong Temple. We will explore the mysterious temple dedicated to the dark god Rahu. I will disclose why only offerings of the color black are allowed in it.
Optionally and depending on the pace of travel, we can add or replace locations:
- Tiger World - a beautiful place where you can take professional photos with predators
- Monkey Cave - the largest cave in the area. There are also sheep around, and you can feed the fish.
- Elephant and Crocodile Farm
