What to Expect
You will visit:
Wat Mahabut Temple. You will hear the captivating story of the ghost bride, Mae Nak. Understand why people usually pray at her altar for the birth of healthy children and the return of their loved ones from war. Optionally, you can feed the colony of giant black catfish – a ritual for wish fulfillment.
Wat Phasi Temple. This temple worships the spirit of Bunpeng Hip Lek, the last man publicly beheaded in Thailand on August 19, 1919.
Ceremonial Royal Temple of Wat Ratchanadaram. Explore the palace built by the orders of Rama III. It is known for its unique architecture and labyrinth for walking meditation.
