About this experience
I invite you to an exciting tour of Bangkok. You will visit Buddhist temples and skyscrapers, stroll through the local 'Wall Street', admire the city from a bird's eye view. I will tell you interesting facts about the country, its people, customs, traditions, and aspects of life, and gladly answer your questions.
What to Expect
We will move between locations by car to cover as many interesting places as possible. Most of Thailand's nationally significant tourist sites can only be toured by their employees, linguists, and history experts. Therefore, we will have 2 guides on our trip: a licensed Russian-speaking guide and myself. So, here is our program:
09:00 - Meet in the lobby of your hotel.
10:00 - Meet our Thai guide and head to explore the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha.
12:00 - Visit the Temple of the Reclining Buddha - the oldest monastery in the capital, famous for its history and Thai massage school.
13:00 - Say goodbye to our Thai guide and have lunch.
14:30 - Then we head to the Silom district to explore the 'Bangkok Wall Street'. We will be in a completely different part of the city, where shining skyscrapers of financial institutions coexist with temples of various faiths. We will stop at the main Roman Catholic church in Thailand and an Indian-style Hindu temple.
15:30 - Next stop is the Mahanakhon skyscraper with the famous 'Glass Skywalk' at a record height of 314 meters. This place is perfect for adventure enthusiasts. You will be able to take unique photos at bird's eye view with a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Siam.
17:00 - Take the skytrain to Chao Phraya River station. Then transfer by boat to the multifunctional complex Icon Siam.
18:00 - Explore Icon Siam. You will see the most expensive hotels and residential buildings in the city, admire Thailand's tallest buildings, go up to the observation deck, and enjoy a stunning view of Bangkok. Then I will introduce you to the largest shopping center in the country and give you free time for shopping.
19:00-20:00 - Transfer back to the hotel.
