About this experience
My tour is an emotional immersion into the culture of Thailand and its capital. I will show you the full color and contrast of Bangkok: from temple complexes to bustling markets and Chinatown. I interact a lot with monks and other locals. I know from them about religion and meditative rituals, and will teach you how to perform them correctly. And I will also introduce you to Thai cuisine in a Michelin-starred national restaurant.
What to Expect
- Gigantic Dragon Temple Wat Samphan. You will see a unique 80-meter high structure, climb to the top of the temple to the ancestors' tree, and learn the scandalous history of the complex.
- Big Golden Buddha Temple. You will participate in a purification ritual and walk the path of a thousand monks.
- Lunch at a traditional Thai restaurant in the Nakorn Paton province
- Temple Complex Wat Pho. You will visit the main Buddha temple and the royal dynasty mausoleum. See the giant statue of the Reclining Buddha and perform the ritual - offering 108 bowls to attract luck and prosperity.
- Pak Klong Talad Flower Market - the largest in Asia
- Dinner at an authentic cafe, awarded by Michelin guide. Witness the process of preparing dishes in Thai style and enjoy new flavors.
- Chinatown. Visit a traditional Chinese temple, immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the metropolis slums, explore the orthodox market of Chinatown and the souvenir street, and also treat yourself to traditional sweets from a Michelin-starred establishment.
