What to Expect
Arch of Ararat
Arch of Ararat attracts all travelers exploring the surroundings of Yerevan, and we will not be an exception. From here, you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the majestic Ararat, so get ready to absorb this beauty and take memorable photos! Here you will learn about the poet's challenging fate, whose words are inscribed on the arch. You will understand why his name was banned for a long time and what place Eghishe Charents's work occupies in Armenian literature.
Pagan Temple
Next, we will head to the Garni Temple – a symbol of pre-Christian Armenia. You will explore the pagan structure and feel the charm of the ancient era. Why was Garni built here? Why are giant-sized steps leading to the temple? Why are there exactly 24 columns around it? You will get answers to the main 'whys' about this ancient construction.
Cave Monastery
The route will include not only the pagan temple but also the Christian 4th-century Geghard Monastic Complex. You will visit the cave structure with incredible energy and peek into its cells.
