About this experience
Mtskheta is a place of majestic temples, abundance of souvenirs, and incredibly interesting and beautiful sites from the perspectives of history and archaeology. We will show you royal baths, sacred places, and mystical corners created centuries ago and even before our era. You will learn where Saint Nino prayed, visit ancient churches, and see the monument to the Georgian Robin Hood.
What to expect
We will guide you through all aspects of Mtskheta - our paths lead to Bagineti, the royal baths from the 3rd-4th centuries, burial grounds, mounds, and pagan idols. You will see the power spot where the idol Armaz stood in the 2nd-3rd centuries BC forming a magical triangle. Explore the cave where Saint Nino hid and prayed.
You will admire the confluence of the Aragvi and Kura rivers from two angles, visit ancient temples and cathedrals, and have lunch in an authentic Georgian restaurant. Optionally, you can take a boat ride along the river.
