Uzbekistan is not just about pilaf! Our soft sunny climate allows us to grow vineyards and produce premium wine. You will be convinced of this by visiting the vineyards of 'Bagizagan'. Here you will be shown the process of beverage production, learn about the intricacies and approaches, and be offered to taste 6 types of wine and 3 types of brandy.
What to expect
Embark from Samarkand to the rural winery 'Bagizagan'. During the trip, you will enjoy beautiful natural landscapes.
At the winery, you will be greeted by an experienced guide who will explain the wine production process and introduce you to various local varieties: Cabernet, Merlot, Chardonnay, Rkatsiteli, Kuldjinskiy, Bayan Shirey. You will also have the opportunity to taste 6 types of wine and 3 types of brandy.
While walking through the vineyards, you will learn about the grape varieties cultivated here and the methods used to care for them. You will also see how the grapes are hand-picked and visit the winemaking workshop, where the wine ferments and ages in barrels.

- The trip will take place in a comfortable Chevrolet Captiva car
- We will pick you up from a convenient location in Samarkand and drop you off after the tour
