I invite you to travel back to the Middle Ages and visit one of the most magnificent Italian castles. Located just an hour's drive from Rome, it will amaze you with picturesque landscapes and beautifully preserved interiors. I will tell you about the castle's former owners and how it is used today.
What to expect
Secrets of the ancient castle
The history of Orsini-Odescalchi spans over 1000 years. You will learn the most interesting episodes: which kings stayed in the castle, whose ghost still wanders in it, and why the Orsini family was excommunicated from the church. Also: under what circumstances the daughter of the legendary Cosimo de' Medici was killed, which movies were filmed here, and which famous couples celebrated their wedding.
Rich interiors of the castle
Walking through the beautifully preserved halls, you will admire the magnificent frescoes adorning them, created by the best masters of their time, the collection of medieval weapons, and Etruscan household items. Finally, you will climb the watchtower, which offers a beautiful view of the lake and its surrounding charming towns.

- If there are more than 4 people, a transfer by minivan is possible - please inquire about the cost in correspondence with the guide. We can also go in your car (it should have space for the guide)
