I invite you to a combined journey that combines immersion in history and relaxation by the sea. You will explore Santa Severa Castle, which in ancient times belonged to influential Roman families. Discover its centuries-old history and visit the museums located inside: archaeological, maritime navigation, costumes, and more. And then relax on the beach on the shores of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
What to expect
Santa Severa Castle
We will visit the medieval Santa Severa Castle, built in the 10th century. I will tell you about the civilization of the Etruscans related to it, what was there before it, what function it served, and which famous people visited it. Today, the castle houses 5 museums that we will visit. You will see antique costumes, archaeological finds, minerals, and artifacts of maritime navigation. All this will help you gain a comprehensive understanding of the history of these places.
Beach relaxation
The castle is beautifully located right on the shore of the azure Tyrrhenian Sea. You will have about 2 hours of free time to relax on a small beach with black volcanic sand. You can sunbathe, swim, enjoy idyllic landscapes, and have lunch at a seafood restaurant.

- Entrance ticket to the castle (including 5 museums) is paid separately: 8 euros per person, children under 6 years old are free of charge.
