About this experience
This tour is for those who are visiting the city for the first time and want to experience its atmosphere. We will visit the most interesting places in Marrakech: Bahia Palace, Majorelle Garden, the eastern bazaar, and much more. I will tell you about the country, its religious concepts, education, and cultural peculiarities. After our tour, you will love Marrakech as much as I do!
What to Expect
Stroll through the Old City
I aim not only to show you beautiful places but also to give you an insight into the country. At Bahia Palace, I will tell you about traditions of courtship and weddings. At Ben Youssef Madrasa - about education, and in the mosque - about Islam in Morocco. It is important for me that the narration is not heavy like a lesson. The atmosphere will be relaxed, with humor.
Local Specifics
We will visit the eastern bazaar, where we will haggle with the vendors. You will see how the locals love to bargain! We will also visit a Berber pharmacy - here they will tell you about argan oil, healing creams, spices. We will have Moroccan royal tea with mint and saffron.
You will see:
- Koutoubia Mosque
- Bahia Palace
- Majorelle Garden
- Yves Saint Laurent Museum
- Jemaa el-Fna Square
- And much more
