About this experience
In China, there are many innovative observation decks, but Shilinxia breaks all records. Resembling a UFO, it is located on a 400-meter mountain peak. Through transparent floors and railings, you can admire the local villages, rapid river, lake, Shilinxia stone forest, and Jidun Gorge. No photos can convey these views and sensations!
What to expect
The Shilinxia observation deck is located 110 km from Beijing, within the vast geological Huansuñu Park. It is impossible to drive up to it, so we will leave the car in the parking lot below. The road from the park entrance to the funicular takes about 1 hour on foot and is surrounded by beautiful landscapes. Then there is an ascent by cable car to the Shilinxia viewpoint. On the way back to the funicular station, a short walk is also required. Therefore, we recommend using the funicular in both directions, especially if you have weak knees - the staircase is quite steep.

- I can wait for you at the bottom or go to the observation deck with you. In the latter case, you will need to pay for the guide's tickets to Shilinxia and the funicular

For transit travelers
Attention! If you have a layover in China of less than 24 hours + arrival and departure from the same terminal, you will not be issued a transit visa and will not be allowed into the city (unfortunately, these are the rules at the moment). Therefore, in this situation, you will not be able to go on the excursion.
