About this experience
Chinese believe that to feel like a true hero, one must climb the Great Wall. I invite you to an exciting trip. Let's step on the 'Heroes Trail' and walk along one of the sections of the grand defensive structure. And then immerse ourselves in the history, religion, and philosophy of the Celestial Empire by visiting an ancient temple and finding inner harmony at a tea ceremony.
What to Expect
Great Wall
We will visit the Juyongguan section, the closest to Beijing, 50 kilometers away. It appeared during the Ming Dynasty. You will learn interesting facts about the construction of the Great Wall and enjoy the breathtaking mountain panoramas.
Lamaist Temple (Yunhegun)
This is one of China's main symbols, a masterpiece of architecture and landscape design. You will see the Hall of Harmony and Peace, a 26-meter statue of Maitreya, the Palace of Prince Yinzheng, and the mountain of Five Hundred Arhats. I'll explain what Lamaism is and how the temple is structured. You will also learn why the official imperial residence was handed over to Tibetan monks.
Tea Ceremony
You will attend an engaging ceremony that, according to the locals, calms the spirit, brings peace and healing. See for yourself how beautiful and entertaining this ritual is. The tea preparation process is not simple, that's why it is considered an art and given a special role in Chinese culture. We will hold the ceremony in a tea house on the way to the Wall.
