About this experience
Colchis will impress you with silence, wild nature, rare birds and plants. We will take a boat trip on Lake Paleostomi, enjoying the surrounding pristine landscapes. In addition, we will visit the cozy Miniature Park and see the ancient Petra Fortress. On the way, I will keep you entertained and share amazing stories about the past and present of Georgia.
What to expect
Petra Fortress and Miniature Park
You will uncover the mysterious history of the ancient Petra Fortress and learn how it survived the collapse of six greatest empires. Drive along the longest street in the USSR and see the place where the King of Colchis ceased the pursuit of the Argonaut Jason. Also, visit the Miniature Park, where you will examine replicas of Georgia's main attractions and hear interesting facts about them.
Colchis National Park
We will take a boat trip on a motorboat in the park's waters. Breathe in the fresh air, admire Lake Paleostomi, jungles, tropical plants, and relic forest. At one stop, we will climb a tower to observe wild birds. I will talk about the park's flora, fauna, and the ancient city of Phasis, which presumably was located right here.
Organizational details
- The excursion is conducted in a comfortable Toyota Prius XW30 car
- The boat trip is paid separately at the park's visitor center - $76 per group
- Tickets to the Miniature Park are not included in the price - $1.5 per person
- Upon request, I can add a panoramic express tour of Batumi to the program
