Welcome to one of the most interesting museums in Astana, showcasing Kazakh national instruments. You will not only see them but also enjoy their magical sounds. You will also make a clay musical instrument with your own hands. Afterwards, you will have a tea ceremony at the colorful restaurant of the People's Artist Dimash Kudaibergenov.
What to Expect
Folk Music Instruments Museum. You will see Kazakh antique instruments: jetigen, dombra, kobyz, syldyrmak, and others. They will demonstrate their sound and tell interesting facts about them. If you wish, you can try playing some of them. Lastly, a small masterclass on making a clay musical instrument awaits you – you can take it home as a souvenir.
Tea Ceremony in an Unusual Place. You will visit the colorful restaurant of Kazakhstan's People's Artist – Dimash Kudaibergenov. It is decorated with various gifts from his fans. You will see the most interesting ones, be treated with local tea, and Kazakh donuts - baursaks. If desired, after the excursion, you can stay in the restaurant for a full meal.
