About this experience
We invite you to visit the ethnographic village, where under the open sky is a reconstruction of an ancient nomadic settlement. Here you can spend a whole day in the traditions of nomadic tribes: learn how to assemble a yurt and make flatbreads, participate in games, ride a horse, try baursaks and pilaf. And in the finale, you will see a colorful theatrical performance.
What to Expect
Traditions, culture, and lifestyle of nomads
For one day, you will not only be guests in the ancient nomadic village but also become a part of it! Imagine how ancient rituals looked, see how Kazakh pastries like baursak are prepared and how felt is beaten. Learn to make salty flatbreads "қаттама нан" with your own hands, get to know the structure of a yurt, and try to assemble it at a master class. Listen to authentic musical instruments, see a theatrical performance, and taste dishes of the local cuisine. If desired, you can further enjoy the surrounding nature and take a walk in the mountain gorge.
Those willing can participate in traditional games like "арқан тарту" (tug of war) and "қой көтеру" (an ancient game that will surprise you). And young visitors can pet foals, shoot a bow and arrow, and ride horses under adult supervision.

11:00 - Greeting guests with the ritual "Shashu"
11:10 - Master class on preparing the national treat Bauyrsak
11:20 - Guide's story about the nomadic lifestyle, demonstration of a felt yurt, ritual display.
12:00 - Equestrian show "Dzhigitovka", national equestrian games "Atpen audaryspak", "Kyz kuu".
12:40 - Horseback riding
13:00 - Lunch (pilaf, salad, bread basket with baursaks, tea, water)
14:00 - Archery master class
Organizational Details
- A driver-guide from our team will be with you on the road, and a local guide will accompany you in the village
- Transfer, visit to the village, lunch, and all activities are included in the price
- You will spend the whole day outdoors, so clothing should be comfortable, warm, and weather-appropriate. It is preferable to wear sneakers or boots (you can take a walk in the nearby gorge).
