About this experience
In this program, we have combined the main city locations with visits to the Central State Museum and the Museum of Folk Musical Instruments. You will not only see iconic landmarks, but also immerse yourself in the history and culture of the country. Learn about who inhabited the territory of the Kazakh Khanate before us, how Kazakh nomads organize their way of life, and what traditions they uphold.
What to expect
We will start the tour with a visit to the main exhibition halls of the Central State Museum - paleontology and archaeology, the history and ethnography of the people living in Kazakhstan, the history of the Great Patriotic War, and also visit the Golden Collection hall.
After a short lunch break, we will explore the city. You will visit the central square of Almaty, see the Monument of Independence and learn about the main periods of modern Kazakhstan's history.
Our next stop is Panfilov Park. We will walk along the Alley of Glory, visit the Ascension Cathedral, see the monument to the hero soldiers of General Panfilov's division, pay tribute to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War at the Eternal Flame, admire the Soviet architecture of the Officers' Club.
Afterwards, we will take a tour of the nearby Museum of Folk Musical Instruments. You will get acquainted not only with Kazakh national instruments, but also with the musical history of Asia, Europe, and even Africa.
We will conclude the tour with a visit to the signature store of the Rahat confectionery factory, where you can purchase delicious sweets made of natural chocolate. We will also visit the main central market of Almaty - the Green Bazaar. Here you can buy fruits, dried fruits, and meat delicacies of Kazakh national cuisine.

- The price includes: tickets to all halls of the Central State Museum and the Museum of Musical Instruments, full guided tour, transfer from the hotel and back in a comfortable car, bottle of water
- Lunch is not included (optional). Guided tours in English and German are available for an additional fee.
