Main Places on the Right Bank
All the most interesting sights of the capital of Kazakhstan will appear before you. I will tell you about their history, architectural features, design concept, and idea. In this part of the tour, you will see:
- Palace of Peace and Reconciliation - you will peek into the unique pyramid designed by Norman Foster, which is a symbol of friendship, unity, and peace on Kazakhstani land.
- Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - here you will find exhibits that reveal the history of modern Kazakhstan: unique archival documents, gifts, awards, books, and other items related to the activities of the country's first president.
- The Hazrat Sultan Mosque - you will not only admire the luxurious white building with traditional ornaments but also step inside the mosque to learn about its uniqueness.
In addition, you will see the Ministry of Finance, the Palace of Independence, the monument to Khans Kerey and Zhanibek, the monument "Kazak Yeli" - a symbol of Kazakhstan's independence, the Russian Drama Theater named after Gorky, the Kazakh National University "Shabyt," and the merchant Kubrin's mansion - the oldest building in the city.
