Istanbul's Secrets
As we stroll among the monuments of the Byzantine era and the Ottoman Empire, we will talk about the secret underground passages that still twist beneath modern Istanbul. We will find out who removed all the valuable artifacts from Constantinople, why the cisterns resemble palaces, what the yellow and red flowers on the balconies of the locals signaled, and why two hammers were hung on the door. You will also hear about the mystical events that took place in the Hagia Sophia temple and understand the mystery behind the decorations of Suleiman's tomb.
After the walk, you can have lunch at the best restaurant in the Old City (according to TripAdvisor for 8 years) with a terrace and Turkish cuisine.
