And with my help, you will learn the most interesting facts about the epochs of Ancient Egypt, the mythology and cults of the Egyptians, the secrets of mummification, and the hieroglyphic language.
What to expect
Pyramids and the Great Sphinx: the breath of eternity
Our immersion in the world of Ancient Egypt will begin with its main attractions:
- The Great Pyramids of Giza - one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. You will explore the pyramids of Pharaohs Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. You will understand the techniques and secrets of their construction, learn about the priceless finds in the tombs, and comprehend why and for whom the pyramids were created. We will discuss both the official data of Egyptologists and the legends surrounding the great structures of Giza.
- Pyramid Panorama: after examining the symbols of the ancient world up close, we will head to a viewing platform from where you can see all three pyramids of Giza at once. It is here that you will take a photo that will be as good as famous Egyptian postcards.
- The Great Sphinx - you will look into the eyes of the guardian of Cairo, hear its story, and decipher its symbolism.
Artifacts of the Cairo Museum
Among the thousands of unique exhibits in the Egyptian Museum, we will focus on the most significant artifacts belonging to three epochs - the Ancient, Middle, and New Kingdoms. You will see objects contemporary to the pyramids of Giza, such as the colossal statues of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. You will observe the legendary treasures of Tutankhamun, mummies of humans and animals. And in the hall where everyday objects, priestly garments, paper, and paints are displayed, you will vividly imagine what the life of the ancient Egyptians was like thousands of years ago.
If you wish, we can also visit papyrus and essential oil factories where you will learn about the ancient crafts of Egypt and have the opportunity to buy authentic souvenirs.
