City Highlights
You will visit the city's main symbols - the magnificent Blue Mosque, where you'll learn about its construction, materials used, and why it has 6 minarets instead of the typical 4. Hagia Sophia, with its stunning mosaics, luxurious decor, and massive 50-meter dome, will mesmerize you. I'll also take you to the Basilica Cistern and reveal the history of this ancient underground water reservoir.
Insider's Istanbul
In the main palace of the Ottoman Empire - Topkapi Palace - you'll see the precious jewels of the sultans and their wives, and stroll through picturesque gardens with fountains. You'll then visit the bustling bazaars - Grand Bazaar and Egyptian Bazaar - where you'll master the art of bargaining with locals and buy traditional Turkish sweets. I'll share insights on Istanbul's way of life, current events, and recommend hidden gems where locals dine.

Organizational Details
- We will enter mosques (inner visits) and can change the itinerary to include Topkapi Palace if desired
- On Fridays, mosques are closed for prayer from 10:00-14:00
- If you prefer not to use a public scarf, please bring your own
- Your tour will be led by me or another guide from our team
