About this experience
Almaty is not only a major economic and cultural center of Kazakhstan, but also a remarkably beautiful city surrounded by the mighty mountains of the Zailiysky Alatau. On a Tesla electric car, we will embark on a sightseeing tour of both the city and its surroundings, including a visit to the Medeo area, where you will see a huge skating rink amidst the mountains, which regular cars cannot access.
What to Expect
The route is designed for you to see the main attractions of Almaty and symbols of Kazakhstan. Traveling on a Tesla will not only allow you to visit protected natural locations but will also be more environmentally friendly, as an electric car does not emit exhaust gases.
Medeo and Shymbulak
We will pick you up at the hotel and head to the Medeo area to admire the magnificent views of the Zailiysky Alatau mountains. Here you will find the famous ice rink. We will continue further and make a coffee stop amidst the powerful mountains. The highlight will be a visit to the Shymbulak ski resort, a former training base for Soviet athletes.
City Vibe
We will return to Almaty, drive through the central streets where you will appreciate the modern architecture, city life, and culture. We will walk through Republic Square and discuss its historical and cultural significance, as well as talk about the development of Kazakhstan and its history.
