You will learn about the heroism of Almaty residents and the work of architect Zenkov. Experience a cable car ride and admire the city from above. Make a wish at a special fountain in Kok Tobe Park on the mountain top.

Iconic attractions and regional stories
On the way, you will see famous city locations such as Abai Opera and Ballet Theatre, Palace of the Republic, Monument of Independence of Kazakhstan, Kazakh Circus, Auezov Drama Theatre.
In Panfilov Park, admire the Ascension Cathedral, a unique wooden architecture monument constructed by architect Zenkov.
At the Heroes of the Soviet Union memorial, you will hear about the legendary Panfilov Division and Almaty heroes who stopped the advance of Nazi tanks towards Moscow during the Great Patriotic War.
Cable car ride and sacred wish
Visit Kok Tobe City Park located on the mountain of the same name. Enjoy a cable car ascent in a cozy cabin: pass gardens and private houses, then towering skyscrapers of the new city. At the top, make a wish at a special apple fountain and learn some facts about the Almaty Television Tower.
