What to Expect
Eghishe Charents Arch
The first stop will be at the "Eghishe Charents Arch". It is erected in honor of the famous poet who deeply loved his homeland. The arch is located in a picturesque spot that offers a breathtaking view of the majestic Mount Ararat.
Garni Temple
The journey continues with a visit to Garni Temple, which was built in the 1st century AD and is one of the most important architectural monuments in Armenia. It will impress you with its grandeur, beauty, and symmetry. The guide will explain how the unique stone architecture embodies ancient Armenian wisdom and technical mastery.
Tea Time in the Mountains
After the tour of Garni, we will treat you to a tea time with mountain herbs and Armenian sweets in an authentic location with a magnificent panoramic view.
Bonus
If desired, you can also see the natural wonder - the "Symphony of Stones" in the Garni Gorge.
Organizational Details
- The tour is conducted by sedan/minivan with air conditioning (photos of the transport can be seen in the gallery). However, there will also be some walking involved - please dress according to the weather and choose comfortable footwear.
- The round trip will take 2 hours.
- If interested, you can visit the Symphony of Stones (this will not affect the overall cost of the tour).
- Tea with mountain herbs and Armenian sweets are included in the price.
