About this experience
Welcome to an exciting journey through the pages of Georgia's history! You will explore the ancient capital, Mtskheta, visit the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Jvari Monastery. Discover Gori and visit the House-Museum of the city's most famous native. You will also explore the mysterious cave city of Uplistsikhe, where each rock holds memories of ancient civilizations.
What to Expect
Mtskheta
First, we will head to the old capital of Georgia and one of the most famous historical sites – Mtskheta. We will visit the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and the country's first monastery – Jvari. Enjoy the view of the city from the observation deck and learn about its history.
Gori
Visit the Stalin Museum. Personal belongings, photographs, paintings, documents, one of the replicas of the death mask, and even his personal railway carriage – all of this is presented in the exhibition dedicated to the life of the city's most famous native.
Uplistsikhe
Conclude the tour in the famous city carved into the rock. You will have free time to stroll around, take photos, and learn about the rich history of the caves that emerged at this site even before our era.
