Join us on a journey to the roots of Georgian history! You will stroll through Mtskheta – the country's first capital. Explore the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Jvari Monastery. Walk through the winding paths of the Uplistsikhe Cave City and visit Stalin's House Museum in Gori. The tour will be conducted in a comfortable minibus with a group of up to 15 people.
What to expect
- Mtskheta. This is the first capital and religious center of Georgia. You will learn its history and visit the main attraction – the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, where the Chiton of Christ is kept.
- Jvari Monastery. The birthplace of Georgian Orthodoxy. The monastery offers magnificent views of Mtskheta and the confluence of two rivers: Mtkvari and Aragvi.
- Stalin's House Museum in Gori. Visit the house where the leader was born and lived. Explore his personal belongings and the armored train carriage he used.
- Uplistsikhe Cave City. We will walk through the ancient fortress city carved into volcanic rocks. You will see remnants of ancient temples, houses, streets, and squares. Discover how people lived and carried out their daily lives here.
