Legends and facts, myths and reality await you. The “neat” and “proper” Germany will show its wild and unrestrained side!
"Eagle's Nest" is the most popular panoramic platform in Bavaria. It was informally called the mountain retreat of Adolf Hitler and the leaders of the Third Reich. It was here that the future fuhrer rented and later bought a summer house from 1923. Subsequently, the entire region was favored by his henchmen, villas and houses were built one after another, hidden passages and bunkers were carved into the mountain ranges.
Itinerary
We will ascend to the summit of Mount Kehlstein, at an altitude of 1834 m, along one of the most beautiful high mountain roads in Germany. This complex 7 km path was laid in just 13 months! The construction cost was 30 million Reichsmarks, which would be approximately 120 million euros today. A tunnel carved in the rock and a historic elevator will lead us to the Tea House - a gift to Hitler for his 50th birthday from the party. The luxurious fireplace presented by Mussolini is still preserved in the interior of the house. Today, there is a Bavarian cuisine restaurant in the building, offering the best views of the Oberzalzberg attractions from the viewing platform: the Watzmann mountain range, Royal Lake, the Austrian city of Salzburg.
Further, our path will lead us through the mountains and forests of Berchtesgaden to the Royal Lake, the cleanest in Europe. The emerald reservoir with crystal-clear water is the highest mountain lake in Germany, with a depth of almost 200 m.
We will take a boat to the island of St. Bartholomew, where you can enjoy fish from the Royal Lake. Smoked and salted fish delicacies are sold in a local fisherman's hut. Do not expect to catch your own fish: the right to fish has belonged only to one hereditary family for several centuries.

- Additional fees include tickets for all participants of the tour, including the guide: special bus to Eagle's Nest (approx. 17€ for adults and 10€ for children under 14), boat on Royal Lake (15€ for adults and 7.5€ for children under 17)
- We can take this tour in your car. Travelers without a car can use my fleet: licensed German cars for groups from 1 to 19 people: BMW, Mercedes or Volkswagen, professional driver. The price for transportation is to be agreed separately, starting from 250€ for the group.
