What to Expect
City Attractions
I will help you uncover the past and present of Morocco's capital. The tour program includes:
- Oudayas Fortress — a medieval fortress where people still live. We will stroll through its narrow streets and have aromatic tea at an authentic cafe. I will tell you about the pirate republic that existed here in the 17th century and show you where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Bouregreg River.
- Mausoleum of Mohammed V and Hassan Tower — two neighboring attractions revealing the city's rich history. Through them, you will learn about the connections between Rabat, Marrakech, and Seville.
- Chellah Fortress — the starting point of Rabat's history. You will see artifacts from the Roman Empire and enjoy a beautiful view of the river valley.
- Modern Districts — we will drive through the new neighborhoods of the city, allowing you to appreciate Rabat's scale and observe its modern life. I will also show you a building that is planned to become the tallest in Africa!
