About this experience
Medieval streets or trendy Rambla boulevard, ancient legends or bold Gaudi's designs - choose one of the two routes and immerse yourself in the rhythm of the Catalan capital! You will learn why the world's oldest synagogue is underground, what is special about Catalan snails and who invented jamon, as well as see the main attractions.
What to expect
Red route: modern realities
We will stroll along the Rambla boulevard, the city's central tourist artery. We will visit the bustling Boqueria market, where hundreds of aromas of local products and spices intertwine. We will seize the Gothic Quarter with Roman ruins and ancient burials, as well as trace how the great Gaudi developed and brought to life his insane architectural fantasies. The walk will end near the central square of Catalonia, separating the Old City from the modern Eixample district
Blue route: medieval history
You will walk through the Gothic and Jewish quarters, uncover the secrets of the Cathedral and explore the artisanal Born. And at the end of the route, you will find yourself not far from the Barceloneta beach. We will guide you past the showcases of Barcelona's shops, tell you how the city lived centuries ago, explain what a 'siesta' is in practice, and you will definitely immerse yourself in the Barcelona way of life.
