About this experience
We invite you to take a panoramic car and walking tour of Beijing. You will see the ancient and modern symbols of the capital. Immerse yourself in the kaleidoscope of the evening market, try exotic snacks, and feel the rhythm of real Beijing life. At the end of the trip, you will visit a tea ceremony where you will learn about the main drink of the Celestial Empire and the rituals associated with it.
What to expect
- Tiananmen Square. From the car window, you will see one of the largest squares in the world, the Monument to the People's Heroes, and Mao Zedong's mausoleum. You will learn what connects Tiananmen Square with Moscow's Red Square and hear the main points from the history of the iconic Beijing landmark.
- Old Market. Nowhere else can you immerse yourself in local life like at the market. During our trip, you will feel the entire color of the Chinese city by strolling through the evening market. You will admire the garlands with lanterns and encounter many exotic goods. And you may even dare to try some traditional snacks. For example, grilled scorpion.
- Olympic Beijing. From the atmosphere of authenticity, we will move to the city of modern achievements and impressive projects.
- Tea Ceremony. The journey will conclude with a ritual without which it is impossible to imagine Chinese culture. Tea holds a special significance for the Chinese, who consider it a wise plant capable of transmitting the energy of life. You will taste several types of traditional tea, learn about the history of the drink, tea traditions of Beijing, and the characteristics of different tea varieties.
