During the tour, you will learn about Christmas traditions, hear urban legends, and uncover some secrets of making special punch.

Festive Munich
Christmas is a time of fairy tales and magic. Christmas in Munich is especially beautiful and interesting. A stroll through the old town will immerse you in the holiday atmosphere – you will hear intriguing urban legends, learn why Christmas is a special holiday for Bavarians. We will talk about traditions and the history of the holiday's emergence, how Bavarians celebrate Christmas Eve, and why they love mulled wine so much.
Main Christmas Places in the City
You will see the main attractions of the city, which acquire a magical charm during the festive days: the main square Marienplatz, the town hall, the Frauenkirche church, the Old Court, Odeonsplatz, Theatine Church, the Residence, and most importantly – the famous Christmas markets (we will visit one or two). Along the way, I will not only tell you the history of the Bavarian capital but also share the secrets of making mulled wine and punch, and you will learn about a special type of punch – Feuerzangenbowle – which can only be found during Christmas.
Organizational Details
- The tour is designed for a minimum of 3 hours. It is advisable to wear comfortable shoes, warm clothing, and bring a good mood with you during the walk!

- We will meet at the main square Marienplatz next to the fountain with a fish.
