About this experience
On the second or third day in Bukhara, I invite you to follow a route that will further reveal the beauty, history, and spirituality of our city. You will see the palace and park where the Bukhara emirs lived in the summer. You will learn about a great Sufi teacher and discover what the Golden Chain of Naqshbandi is. Additionally, you will explore an unusual medrese with four minarets.
What to expect
Medrese Chor Minor
Near Lyabi-Hauz square, in the northeast part of the Old City, we will explore the intriguing architecture of this ancient monument, discuss the symbolism of its construction, and delve into the history of this important structure.
Complex of Baha-ud-Din Naqshband
Located 10 km from Bukhara, in the village of Kasr Arafon, you will visit a historical and religious complex where you will learn about a revered Muslim saint, one of the spiritual fathers of Sufism and the founder of the order.
Summer residence of the Bukhara emirs
Also on the itinerary is the palace-garden Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa, or the 'House of the Moon and Stars.' I will introduce you to the architectural style of this monument, which combines European and Eastern features. You will explore the building's interiors and enjoy a stroll in the well-kept Eastern garden.
If desired, after the tour, we can visit a teahouse where you can try traditional dishes.
