About this experience
Southern Moravia and its capital city Brno are often off the beaten path of main tourist routes. On one hand, this is a great injustice - as it is incredibly beautiful and interesting here! But on the other hand, we can leisurely stroll through the city, touch real Moravian culture and explore this wonderful corner of the Czech Republic.
What to Expect
As Brno is a city with a rich and long history, there are plenty of legends in this city. We will walk through the entire city center, visiting the most interesting places: Moravian Square, the church and square of Saint James, walk along the main square of the city - Freedom Square. Then we will visit the Old Town Hall, take a look at the Cabbage Market with its Parnas Fountain and Dietrichstein Palace. We will climb to the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul (if desired, we will climb the observation tower to overlook the entire city), and then through Schiling Square and Dominican Square we will see the New Town Hall and end our walk at Špilberk Castle (possibly visiting the casemates). We will tell you the history of each of these places and the legends associated with them.
In addition, you will learn where to eat in Brno, what and where exactly is worth trying, how to get to a large shopping center economically or where to entertain children while you shop. In general, we will try to help you with advice in any area related to Brno.
You will enjoy this city. We look forward to seeing you!
Please note. The entrance fees to some attractions are not included in the price of the tour:
- Entrance to the observation tower of the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul - 35 Czech crowns (~1.5 euros),
- Casemates at Špilberk Castle - 150 Czech crowns (~6 euros).
