What to Expect
City's Landmarks
During a leisurely walk through the streets of the Old Town, you will see all the iconic sights of Bratislava and learn interesting facts about them. I will tell you why there is no cross on the tower of St. Martin's Cathedral, where in the city you can find traces of Napoleonic wars, and why a tombstone is built into the medieval Michael's Gate. You will discover traces of several historical epochs on the facade of the old Town Hall, be impressed by the grand Primatial Palace, topped with a cardinal's hat, take photos with the cheerful statues of the city fool and plumber, and uncover the secret of Bratislava's knight Roland.
Bratislava Flavors
I will gladly share valuable recommendations with you: where to buy unique souvenirs, which Slovak wines to try, and which places to visit in the vicinity of Bratislava. In the end, you will taste traditional local wine made from black currant and renowned Bratislava poppy seed or walnut-filled croissants, and experience not only the character but also the taste of the soulful capital of Slovakia!
