About this experience
What is a must-do in China? First, see the main attraction - the ancient wall. Then get acquainted with the local spirituality at one of the authentic eastern temples. And finally, appreciate Chinese cuisine. We will do all of this: head to the most beautiful section of the Great Wall - Mutianyu, visit a Lamaist temple, and try hot pot dish at a trendy place.
What to Expect
One of the 7 Wonders of the World
We will visit a cult place for both the Chinese and travelers - the Great Wall of China. Specifically, the most spectacular section of Mutianyu: where the highest concentration of watchtowers is located. We will stroll along the wall, take a cable car to an observation deck. Appreciate the views and power of the ancient structure, and discuss its history.
Lamaist Temple
Then we will visit the Tibetan Buddhist sanctuary Yunhe Temple. You will admire the lace-like architecture, and I will tell you about the religion and construction of the temple.
Dinner in the Hot Pot Tradition
After an eventful trip, a hearty dinner awaits you at a trendy place. You will learn about the ritual of preparing the hot pot dish and try it.
Organizational Details
- The tour is conducted in a BMW 5 LI car or other comfortable transport if there are more than 4 people
- One-way journey will take 1.5-2 hours
