About this experience
The Great Wall of China is not only an impressive structure but also a repository of mysteries. Some of them you will find answers to: I will tell you who and why built the wall, who it protected from, and whether it is visible from space. The second part of the journey will take place in Old Beijing, where you will learn about the peculiarities of the indigenous people, see the Buddhist Yunhegung Monastery, and an acrobatic show in the circus.

We will climb the most grandiose building in China. And you will learn:

- Whether the construction cost the lives of hundreds of thousands of people and huge financial expenses
- Where the most popular section is located
Upon return to Beijing, I will show you the old part of the city and tell you about the peculiarities of the lives of native Beijing residents. We will have lunch at an authentic eatery and visit the functioning Lamaist Yunhegung Monastery with numerous Buddha statues – each serving its own function. The evening will conclude with a visit to an acrobatic circus show.
Organizational Details
- I will pick you up at the hotel or airport, and after the tour, I will drive you back
- In winter, due to strong winds, the cable car does not operate, so we will climb the Great Wall on foot
- The tour will be conducted by me or another guide from our team
