What to Expect
Great Wall of China
Chinese say: if you haven't climbed the Great Wall of China, you haven't been to China. The tour will start at Juyongguan - the most strategically important section of the wall. You will walk on stones that remember the first Chinese emperor. Feel the power of the place and discover the picturesque landscapes. Learn how and why the wall was restored. And hear the folktales - there are many legends associated with the wall, which are still told to children at bedtime, like fairy tales.
Olympic Village
You will visit the National Stadium 'Bird's Nest' and the National Aquatics Center. We will tell you about the history and architecture of these iconic buildings and share interesting facts about the 2008 Olympic Games.
Tea Ceremony in Beijing
China's tea culture has been around for over 4700 years. Here, in the homeland of tea, you can find over three thousand varieties of it. In the heart of the city, you will visit a traditional tea house, where you will be welcomed by an experienced master. He will introduce you to the rich history of Chinese tea and tell you about its peculiarities. You will learn about different types, their origins, and preparation methods. Witness the process and, of course, taste the drink. The ceremony lasts about 30 minutes.
Chinese Circus
The circus is one of the most respected forms of art in China and is considered the oldest in the world. At the end of the tour, you will see a performance by an acrobatic troupe from the ancient province of Guizhou.
Midway through the program, we will have lunch at the 'Peking Duck' restaurant.
