In a journey to two cities founded in the 4th-5th centuries BC, you will be transported to the ancient era. Explore the remains of theaters, basilicas, baths, and fragments of ancient mosaics. Learn about the history of the Lycian state. Also, enjoy panoramic views of valleys and relax on one of the private beaches near Phinike.
What to Expect
Arykanda
Located about two hours from Antalya, the city is situated on the high hills of the Taurus Mountains. You will explore its ruins, including a well-preserved theater, necropolis, and intricate mosaics. Marvel at the breathtaking views of surrounding valleys and immerse yourself in the fascinating history and culture of this ancient civilization.
Limyra
Located near Arykanda, you will visit the second city with archaeological excavations. The most interesting objects in Limyra include impressive remains of a Roman theater and a large basilica with a fortress inside, as well as a Lycian sarcophagus.
Midday includes lunch at a trout farm and relaxation (1 hour) on one of the private beaches in Phinike.
