About this experience
Three millennia ago, there existed a mysterious Lycian civilization in southern Turkey. Together, we will immerse ourselves in its culture and the pristine nature of the southwest of the Lycian Peninsula. We will travel back in time, complement it with shopping in the Turkish-Greek town of Kas, and visits to two completely different beaches.
What to expect
- Leaving the Chalish area in Fethiye and heading straight to Patara. It will take about an hour.
- Strolling through the ruins of the capital of Lycian states, Patara, swimming in the invigorating sea near the place where Nicholas the Wonderworker was born. I will tell you about the childhood and youth of the man who became the prototype of Ded Moroz and Santa Claus.
- Then we will stop above the small town of Kalkan, and after a 10-minute drive, another impressive panorama awaits us - a view of the famous Kaputas Beach from a bird's eye view.
- Next, we head to Kas. I guarantee you beautiful views along the way.
- In Kas, I will take you to a favorite Turkish restaurant where you can order any dishes, from Turkish pizza to seafood delicacies. The prices and portions will pleasantly surprise you.
- After lunch, we will go on a sightseeing tour of the city, walk through the Greek streets, touch artifacts of the Lycian civilization. In Kas, you can buy designer clothes, handmade souvenirs, and local products, sit in an atmospheric cafe overlooking the sea.
- And the cherry on top awaits us further - swimming at one of the cleanest beaches in southern Turkey. I promise a rejuvenating effect. You will return to Fethiye as a different person.
