About this experience
You need to know how to walk through museums. Especially archaeological ones. And especially with children. Do you want to learn? You need an enthusiastic guide, pencils, and a good mood - that's all! Join us for an interesting stroll through the well-known and unknown corners of Turkey. We will eavesdrop on the conversations of gods, meet the inhabitants of the museum courtyard, and proud statues will pose for us.
What to Expect
Turkey map at the museum entrance. Let's find the places you have already visited or plan to visit on it, and I will tell you about them in detail.
Children's room. Here we will find models of the main attractions of the Antalya region. Concisely, understandably, informatively, they will introduce you to Demre, Side, Phaselis, and other ancient cities of the country. I will join with my story and mini-tasks.
Room with the first tools and decorations. Let's examine them all, and I will tell you what the first earrings were made of, and many other interesting facts.
Antiquity room. Here we have reached the ancient gods. The exposition regularly changes its heroes. Maybe we will meet Artemis, Hercules, Zeus, or other famous characters here. I will definitely share interesting stories about them. And we will also engage in a super fun activity - drawing sketches of statues. I promise a small gift for the best drawing.
Symphony concert. It takes place in the neighboring hall once every two weeks. If we're lucky, we'll hear classical music within the museum walls - very unusual and impressive.
Room with mosaics. Here we will remember ancient myths, and I will also introduce you to some mosaic techniques.
Museum courtyard. Naturally, it is not easy too, and there are its inhabitants. Do you know who lives here besides sculptures? I will tell you everything soon. See you at the museum!
Organizational Details
- The tour is designed for parents with children aged 5-10
- Entrance tickets are not included in the price and are purchased separately. Free for children under 8 years old. For visitors aged 8 and above - 15 euros.
