About this experience
During the tour, you will get acquainted with the history of Turkish Alanya, closely related to the prosperity and fall of the ancient world, the Byzantine Empire, and the Seljuk Sultanate. You will learn why its history is so firmly connected with pirates, who liberated the ancient Mediterranean from the 'lucky gentlemen', whether Alanya was an Armenian city, why the famous beach is named after Queen Cleopatra, what criminals threw from Cape Adam Atadzhagy to avoid the death penalty, and much more.
What to expect

Afterwards, we will stroll along the charming streets of the Old Town with picturesque houses in Ottoman style, the mausoleum of Akshabe, and the ancient Suleymanie mosque in the northern part of the fortress called Ehmedek.
