What to Expect
- Pisa Cathedral - one of the first cathedrals in Tuscany dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. You will appreciate its interior decoration and Early Renaissance artworks.
- Baptistery of St. John - the city's baptistery with magical acoustics. You will see the font with carved panels, marble floors with colorful stone patterns, and a hexagonal ambo for reading the Gospel.
- Campo Santo Cemetery. Explore a collection of Roman sarcophagi and frescoes from the 14th-15th centuries. Learn how Boccaccio's novellas and Liszt's music were inspired by a particular fresco.
