About this experience
This is a small but very exciting excursion to the most important places in Pisa. You will visit its main square, and optionally the cathedral, baptistery, or cemetery. Learn about the past of the proud maritime republic of Pisa and discover the incredible history of the most recognizable bell tower in the world.
What to Expect
We will meet you in Livorno at 9:00. On the way to Pisa, I will tell you many interesting facts about Livorno itself, the history of the region as a whole, and its cities.
In Pisa's Square of Miracles, we will delve into the history of the Pisan Republic and Italy's first maritime state. Optionally, we will visit the cathedral, baptistery, or Campo Santo cemetery. You will get acquainted with early Renaissance art and learn the secrets of construction, according to which medieval masters erected the most important city square. And of course, you will take memorable photos against the backdrop of the famous bell tower. Then we will stroll through the narrow streets of the city, and I will show you a completely different side of Pisa. And by 12:00, you will already be back at Livorno port.
