Sherlock Holmes Team
Let's travel back in time and imagine Pisa during the construction of the world-famous Leaning Tower!
...It was an early July morning, and the Piazza dei Miracoli was swarming with builders. Sculptors, armed with chisels, were decorating the marble columns with intricate Byzantine-style carvings, while slaves were hauling giant blocks of pure white marble for the baptistery. To the right of the unfinished baptistery, a wise-looking foreman was discussing the dome project, arguing that a dome shaped like a sugar head would look more original. At the walls of the hospital, vendors were shouting 'coffee, cappuccino, grappa!' It was just an ordinary Pisan morning... Who is to blame for the leaning tower? What secrets does this unique architectural masterpiece hold? Let's find out!
